I was born and raised in Queens NY. My parents are Dominican immigrants. They came over to America in the early 90s. I’ve been the translator for my family for as long as I can remember.
Unlike most people my fashion design career started in at the High School of Fashion Industries in New York, New York. During this time I learned Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Pattern-making draping and sewing.
FUN FACT: I constructed a wedding gown for my senior project.
I continued my education at the State University of New York College at Buffalo (Buffalo State College) and majored in fashion textile technology. Throughout my years at Buffalo State I was able to study abroad to Manchester Metropolitan University where I studied Menswear.
Upon graduation in 2017 I interned at Wiesner products in NYC, then became a full time assistant designer supporting the senior designers with soft home goods (pillows & blankets ) cold weather accessories like ladies and children's hats gloves scarves and socks.
I then transitioned to Sport Life Brands as an assistant designer creating  women's, men's, and children's loungewear and underwear. I had the opportunity to work with licensed brands such as MARVEL, ISOTONER, NAUTICA, SEAN JOHN, UMBRO and STARTER. I created various tech packs for multiple products.
My area of fashion design expertise is ready to wear women's wear using Adobe Illustrator.
